Job Title: Robot Welder Operative

Storth Limited is a long established and expanding family-owned business manufacturing slurry handling equipment for the agricultural sector in the UK and beyond.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Robot Welder Operative to join our fabrication team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining robotic welding systems to produce high quality parts for our slurry equipment.

The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, demonstrate attention to detail and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate robotic welding equipment.
• Read and interpret technical drawings.
• Monitor welding processes to ensure consistent quality and adherence to specifications.
• Organise and sort steel profiles, load and unload steel manually or using a crane (training will be given).
• Perform routine maintenance, keep detailed records and report any defects.
• Inspect completed welds ensuring parts are correctly welded and adhere to standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure continuity of production.
• Comply with H&S regulations keeping a clean and organised workspace.

Skills:

· Experience in the use of overhead crane and slinging an advantage (training will be given).

· Manual handling & lifting.

· Being able to use own initiative.

· Capable and proficient in the use of hand tools.

· Welding experience an advantage but not essential.

· In-house training will be provided to operate the robot welder.

Hours Of Work:

· Monday – Thursday 8:00 – 17.30

· Friday 8:00 – 15:00

· Overtime is available and paid at time and a half

Competitive salary dependant on experience
