Robotic Weld Operator

<Job Overview>
Load, unload, cycle, and troubleshoot robotic welding cells to meet production requirements. Use provided hand tools and other personal protective equipment to rework parts when needed, ensuring robotic/hand welds meet Rogers Manufacturing welding standards per AWS D1.1.

<Responsibilities>

* Load and unload robotic welding cells for cycle completion, achieving desired production totals consistently.

* Stop, power down, and restore and correct robotic welding station in the event of malfunction.

* Analyze and Inspect welding performance of Robot on finished parts.

* Recognize, set up, and operate hand power tools and welding equipment

* Rework/edit assemblies with hand power-tools and MIG welding equipment according to AWS D1.1 or Roger’s internal WPS.

* Productive member of work group, supports your critical departments, adheres to Rogers Manufacturing safety policy, including safety requirements and proper robot handling procedures, lockout/tagout, etc.

* Operate powered vehicles (Fork-trucks, etc.) safely and competently in needed.

* Work in a production setting to facilitate the needs of Roger’s Manufacturing goals.

* Keep workstation, clean, orderly, and safe, according to Company Guidelines.

* Understands importance of company workflow and structures, safety, and punctuality.

* Cooperate in teamwork. Assist with other employees’ tasks if needed.

* Understanding of Robotic Controls, and Welding. (Start and stop robot cycle, manual movement, and welding parameters – Training provided).

* Become familiar with Roger’s Manufacturing Processes and workflows.

* Demonstrate ability to solve problems with logic, see strengths and weaknesses in workflows and processes.

* GMAW/FCAW Welding (Other welding skills a plus).

* Punctuality. Maintain work quota and be at work on time consistently.

* Able to Lift +30lbs.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
