Robotic Welder

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operation of production machinery or other production related functions. Must meet or exceed production quota.
• Handle extremely hot parts.
• Hourly checks for quality of product and maintain proper reports.
• Fill out Production Reporting Chart and Scrap Log.
• Must take WIP (work in progress) components or product out of containers and process as assigned.
• Must place processed finished goods from cell to proper containers (i.e.: tubs, skids, boxes, etc).
• Must be able to effectively interact and communicate with fellow associates and management.
• Must be able to adapt to both slow- and fast-paced work environments as business needs change.
• Must follow & obey all company policies and procedures.
• Must be able to adapt to changes in production needs, including operating different machines or performing other tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or GED required. Prior experience in manufacturing environment preferred. Some computer literacy and data entry knowledge.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The Robotic Weld Operator role requires frequent bending, stooping, stretching, and prolonged standing. May be required to continuously lift up to 30 pounds throughout a ten (10) hour shift. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:

Associates must be able to work in a manufacturing environment where temperatures may vary and are not climate controlled, including hot summer and cold winter conditions.

The Robotic Weld Operator is responsible for operating production machinery and performing production-related functions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position requires maintaining quality standards, meeting production quotas, completing production documentation, and safely handling hot materials and equipment. The role involves frequent physical activity, including standing, bending, lifting, and working in non-climate-controlled conditions. Candidates must be safety-conscious, adaptable to changing production needs, and able to effectively communicate and work with fellow associates and management.
