Robotic Welder 1st shift

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Robotic Welding Operator position is full time and based at our shop in Dyersburg, TN. We are looking for self-motivated, self-starter, with the desire to learn and excel in a technical environment. This position welds with ABB and FUNUC type robotic welders. We are seeking a candidate who is project oriented, with strong time management skills, who can work on multiple projects that are at various stages. Work will be performed with minimal supervision. The work schedule is Monday thru Thursday, 6:00am to 4:30pm. Overtime may be required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Control robotic movements to safely apply MIG type welds per blueprint specifications to produce completed products to company standards and customer requirements.

· Organize projects, handle multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail.

· Read check sheets, blueprints, and tape measure to determine specifications and accurately complete all required functions; accurately document and maintain information in written or electronic form.

· Perform operator maintenance per established schedules; troubleshoot to determine robot malfunctions using knowledge of microprocessors, programmable controllers, circuit analysis, and electronics & pneumatics.

· Other duties may be assigned or requested.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

· 1 year of experience as a Robotic Welding Operator in an industrial warehouse setting.

· Capability to assemble, test, install & troubleshoot robotic equipment.

· Ability to read blueprints and read a tape measure to 1/16” increments.

· Ability to read and interpret drawing for dimensions and weld patterns to determine quality adherence to engineering requirements.

· Analytical mind that is strong with math, verbal, and written communications.

· Reliable, trustworthy, critical attention to detail with the ability to work independently.

· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

· Ability to be proactive, confident, and react quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Starting Pay is $19.50 per hour

Pay: $19.50 - $21.50 per hour
