About the Role –Robotics and IoT Engineer Intern

We are looking for a passionate and hands-on Robotics and IoT Engineer Intern to join our engineering and product development team. This internship offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies in embedded systems, sensor integration, automation, and IoT connectivity. You will contribute to building and testing smart hardware prototypes, supporting EGPT’s mission of faster, smarter, AI-assisted hardware innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop IoT-based systems and robotic prototypes using microcontrollers (Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, etc.).
• Implement sensors, actuators, and communication modules (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, LoRa, etc.) for real-world applications.
• Work on PCB design, circuit testing, and integration of hardware with software interfaces.
• Collaborate with the AI and software teams for EGPT platform integration.
• Support hardware debugging, calibration, and optimization tasks.
• Research and experiment with AI-enabled robotics, automation, and industrial IoT solutions.
• Document designs, results, and processes for internal reporting and presentation.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• Basic knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and IoT protocols.
• Experience with hardware tools (Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Soldering Station) and software tools like Arduino IDE, Proteus, or MATLAB is a plus.
• Familiarity with Python/C/C++ programming.
• Creative problem solver with a passion for robotics and innovation.
