Robotics Engineer – EdNex LLC (Dubai, UAE)

EdNex is seeking a highly skilled  Robotics Engineer  to join our expanding Robotics & Automation division. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with humanoid, quadruped, commercial cleaning, and service robots. This role involves troubleshooting, prototyping, deployment support, and assisting the robotics and automation team during client interactions, presentations, and demonstrations.

We are looking for someone with strong technical acumen, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills for both customer-facing and internal support.

Key Responsibilities

1. Robot Operation & Troubleshooting

• Operate, configure, and calibrate humanoid robots, quadrupeds, and commercial cleaning/service robots during events, demos, and client site visits.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues such as sensor faults, server errors, connectivity issues, and firmware inconsistencies.
• Conduct pre-deployment testing, firmware upgrades, quality checks, and post-installation performance validation.

2. Deployment, Support & Reporting

• Provide technical support to clients and internal teams via chat, calls, on-site assistance, and remote troubleshooting sessions.
• Assist the robotics team during client meetings, demos, and live presentations, ensuring professional showcasing of robot capabilities.
• Work closely with clients to understand use cases, customize robot functions, and ensure smooth deployments.
• Document technical issues, resolutions, maintenance activities, and customer feedback in structured reports.
• Create and maintain technical guides, FAQs, workflow documentation, and training material for clients and internal teams.
• Support the company at exhibitions, trade shows, and industry events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven hands-on experience with humanoid robots and quadrupeds or similar platforms.
• Proven experience in warehouse automation, logistics tech, or industrial automation.
• Understanding of Al-driven automation, robotics & smart warehouse tech.
• Market knowledge of UAE, Qatar & Saudi Arabia ecosystems.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities across mechanical, electrical, and software systems.
• Strong communication and documentation skills for client-facing interactions.
• Ability to work independently and support multiple ongoing projects simultaneously.
