In this energetic role, you will operate specialized roll-off trucks to transport and manage large waste containers, ensuring safe and efficient delivery, pickup, and disposal services. Responsibilities

• Safely operate roll-off trucks, front loader trucks, rear loader trucks, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers to transport waste containers to designated locations.
• Load and unload containers efficiently using manual lifting techniques and mechanical equipment such as front loaders.
• Ensure proper securing of loads during transit to prevent accidents or spillage.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, pickups, fuel usage, and maintenance activities.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate schedules and resolve issues promptly.
• Follow all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies to uphold a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL license, including manual transmission operation.
• Mechanical knowledge of heavy-duty trucks such as roll-off trucks, front loaders, rear loaders, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers.
• Strong ability to load & unload containers safely using appropriate equipment.
• Physical capability for heavy lifting and manual handling of waste containers.
• Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, precision, and adherence to traffic regulations.
• Familiarity with operating specialized equipment like front loader trucks or dump trucks is a plus.
