Join our dynamic team as a Roll-Off Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver and become a vital part of our waste management and disposal operations! Responsibilities
- Safely operate roll-off trucks, front loader trucks, rear loader trucks, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers to transport waste containers to designated locations.
- Load and unload containers efficiently using manual lifting techniques and mechanical equipment such as front loaders.
- Ensure proper securing of loads during transit to prevent accidents or spillage.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, pickups, fuel usage, and maintenance activities.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate schedules and resolve issues promptly.
- Follow all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies to uphold a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL license, including manual transmission operation.
- Mechanical knowledge of heavy-duty trucks such as roll-off trucks, front loaders, rear loaders, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers.
- Strong ability to load & unload containers safely using appropriate equipment.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and manual handling of waste containers.
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, precision, and adherence to traffic regulations.
- Familiarity with operating specialized equipment like front loader trucks or dump trucks is a plus.
