Roll Off Dispatch

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Roll Off Dispatch professional to coordinate the efficient movement of roll-off containers and manage logistics operations. In this role, you will serve as the central point of contact for scheduling, dispatching, and tracking roll-off services, ensuring timely delivery and pickup while maintaining excellent communication with drivers, customers, and vendors. Your proactive approach will help optimize transportation workflows, improve service levels, and support overall supply chain efficiency. This position offers an energetic environment where your analysis skills and transportation management expertise will drive operational success.

Duties

• Coordinate daily dispatch activities for roll-off container pickups and deliveries using Excel Spread sheets and GPS tracking tools.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and vendors via multi-line phone systems, ensuring clear instructions and updates.
• Utilize GIS (Geographic Information Systems) to optimize routing plans and improve logistical efficiency.
• Monitor fleet management data through Verizon Connect Reaveal to track vehicle locations, status, and performance.
• Maintain accurate data entry for shipment details, scheduling information, and service records using systems such as Quick books.
• Conduct analysis of logistics data to identify opportunities for process improvements or cost savings.
• Handle shipping & receiving documentation, freight coordination, and coordinate with 3PL (third-party logistics) providers to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience with transportation management systems, Excel , GPS technology, and fleet management tools.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes, transportation planning, and logistics operations.
• Excellent analysis skills to interpret data related to freight movements, routing efficiencies, and operational metrics.
• Proficiency in dispatching procedures along with effective phone etiquette and communication skills.
• Ability to perform data entry accurately while managing multi-line phone systems efficiently.
• Familiarity with TMS Excel along with Quick Books, and 3PL shipping & receiving processes is preferred.
