Roll-Off Driver

Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Roll-Off Driver and take charge of safely transporting and managing roll-off containers used for waste, recycling, and other bulk material services. This energetic role offers the opportunity to operate a variety of heavy-duty trucks, including front loader, rear loader, and specialized roll-off trucks, ensuring efficient delivery, pickup, and disposal processes. As a vital part of our logistics operations, you’ll play a key role in maintaining smooth service flow while demonstrating your mechanical aptitude and driving expertise. Responsibilities

• Safely operate various types of trucks such as roll-off trucks, front loader trucks, rear loader trucks, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and flatbeds to load, transport, and unload waste or recyclable materials
• Load and unload containers using manual lifting techniques or mechanical equipment while adhering to safety protocols
• Drive in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe delivery and pickup routes
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues
• Assist with the manual handling of heavy loads during container exchange or material transfer
• Communicate effectively with dispatch teams to coordinate pickups and deliveries efficiently
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, pickups, vehicle inspections, and any incidents or anomalies during shifts

Experience

• Proven experience in commercial driving with a focus on heavy-duty trucks such as dump trucks, tractor-trailers, or roll-off trucks
• Strong mechanical knowledge of truck systems and basic maintenance procedures
• Hands-on experience operating front loader trucks, rear loader trucks, flatbeds or similar equipment preferred
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements suitable for operating heavy machinery and manual transmission vehicles
• Familiarity with load & unload procedures involving heavy lifting and manual handling techniques
• Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and transportation regulations
• Delivery driver experience in waste management or construction industries is highly desirable

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
