Roll-Off Driver

Join our dynamic team as a Roll-Off Driver and become a vital part of our waste management and recycling operations! In this energetic role, you will operate specialized roll-off trucks to transport and dispose of waste materials efficiently and safely. Your expertise in truck driving, route management, and load handling will ensure smooth operations while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities

• Safely operate roll-off trucks and other heavy-duty commercial vehicles, including dump trucks, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tanker trucks, and tractor-trailers.
• Load, unload, and secure freight or waste containers using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or hydraulic systems.
• Drive assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Collect waste or recyclable materials from designated sites and deliver to disposal or processing facilities.
• Inspect vehicles daily for mechanical issues, safety hazards, or maintenance needs; report any concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, route logs, and vehicle inspections.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate schedules and address any operational challenges.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery routes and freight handling.
• Familiarity with manual transmission trucks and operating specialized equipment such as forklifts or roll-off mechanisms.
• Ability to load & unload freight safely using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Experience with various truck types including flatbed, refrigerated trailer, tanker, dump truck, or tractor-trailer is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures related to commercial driving and heavy equipment operation.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, perform vehicle inspections, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
