-Start time is the time you should be on the road starting your route

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Roll Off Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of commercial vehicles, including roll off trucks, and will be responsible for transporting waste materials efficiently and safely. This role requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and service while ensuring timely deliveries and dependability.

Responsibilities

• Operate roll off trucks to transport waste materials from customer locations to disposal sites.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Safely load and unload containers using proper techniques and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including pickup and drop-off times, locations, and any incidents that occur during transit.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding commercial driving and waste transportation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding schedules and service issues.
• Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle by performing routine cleaning and minor repairs as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for operating roll off trucks.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles, including familiarity with front loader trucks, rear loader trucks, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, flatbeds, or manual transmission vehicles.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols in transportation and waste management.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to navigate routes efficiently.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
