Responsibilities

• Safely operate roll-off trucks, including tractor-trailers and dump trucks, to load, transport, and unload waste materials.
• Load and unload containers using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or hydraulic systems.
• Drive route schedules efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, fuel usage, and maintenance logs.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate pickups and drop-offs.
• Assist with securing loads on flatbeds or refrigerated trailers when necessary for specialized freight handling.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating roll-off trucks, dump trucks, or similar heavy-duty vehicles.
• Knowledge of manual transmission operation preferred but not required; training available for qualified candidates.
• Ability to load & unload freight using forklifts or other lifting equipment safely.
• Familiarity with route driving, freight handling, and safety procedures in a commercial setting.
• Prior delivery driver experience is highly desirable; strong customer service skills are a plus.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Work Location: On the road
