Duties

• Safely operate roll-off trucks and to pick up and deliver waste containers across designated routes
• Load, unload, and secure freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or hydraulic systems
• Conduct pre-trip inspections on your vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with all regulations
• Route driving to optimize efficiency while adhering to scheduled pickup times and customer requirements
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, pickups, and mileage for record-keeping purposes
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups and address any issues promptly
• Follow all safety protocols, including proper load securing, hazard awareness, and adherence to traffic laws

Skills

• Proven experience in truck driving, especially with commercial vehicles like dump trucks or roll-off trucks
• Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, route planning, and time management
• Experience with delivery driver responsibilities including route driving and customer service
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for heavy or specialized vehicles

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
