Roll-off Driver

***THIS POSITION IS FOR ROLL-OFF DRIVER'S WITH MORE THAN 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN NYC. WE ARE NOT CONSIDERING APPLICATIONS WITHOUT PRIOR EXPERIENCE***

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Roll Off Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating roll off trucks to transport waste and debris from various job sites. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to perform heavy lifting. As a Roll Off Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient waste management services while adhering to safety regulations and company policies.

Please only apply if you already have roll-off experience. We are looking for experienced driver's who have driven the same or similar trucks to the one's found in the fleet description below. Unfortunately, other applications without roll-off experience will not be considered at this time.

Responsibilities

• Operate roll-off trucks, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of waste materials.
• Load and unload containers at designated locations, utilizing proper techniques to prevent injury.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding routes and schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time logs and load weights.
• Ability to use app on phone for dispatching and scheduling purposes.
• Assist in the training of new drivers as needed.

Experience

• Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with roll off trucks or similar heavy vehicles.
• Familiarity with manual transmission operation is highly desirable.
• Experience with heavy lifting and loading/unloading materials safely.
• Knowledge of dumpster roll-off operations is a plus.
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues is beneficial.
• Previous experience as a roll-off driver or in waste management is advantageous.
• Ability to operate rear loader trucks or compactor trucks.
