Roll Off Driver

Slammin Canz, INC. is a waste management company in Central New Jersey that is currently seeking experienced roll-off truck drivers with a minimum of a Class B CDL license. 100% of work is home daily. Why work for Slammin Canz? • Competitive Wages • Paid Time Off & Holidays • Positive and safe work environment • Opportunities available for overtime • Health Benefit Plan after 90 days probationary period • Healthy work/home balance Expectations • Ability to adhere to Company policies and rules set forth; promotes the Company’s safety standards; does not take inappropriate risks • They must comply with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations and with all company policies and procedures Qualifications • Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement • Must have a clean license • Must have 2 years of experience safely operating a roll-off truck • Properly able to operate a truck with a manual transmission Responsibilities • Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers and dispatcher • Roll Off Drivers are responsible for the inspection, pickup and delivery of roll off containers and proper recording of all regulatory documentation • Hauling of waste debris from large, high volume construction customers, as well as from residential and other commercial customers • Performing assigned duties on roll-off delivery and hauling routes • This physically strenuous position involves mounting and dismounting a heavy-duty truck many times each day • In addition, the position involves lifting (up to 50 - 75 pounds), pushing, pulling, and bending • Reporting any repairs and maintenance issues with equipment assigned to the driver • Operate manual and/or automatic controls in accordance with Company safety policies and procedures to lift and load refuse, operate compactor and dispose of collected material at the designated facility Slammin Canz, INC. is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
