Job Summary
The Roll Off Driver is responsible for the inspection, pickup and delivery of roll off containers. They are responsible for the proper recording of all regulatory documentation. The roll-off driver reports to the Dispatcher.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely operate a roll off truck
- Lift and drop roll off containers
- Report all issues or incidents to dispatch
- Pre and post-trip inspections on vehicle
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 21 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States
- CDL Class B
- Maintain a DOT medical certificate
- Maintain a safe driving record
- DOT drug screening mandated
- Previous experience in roll off truck driving
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work overtime when necessary

Duties
- Safely operate roll-off trucks equipped with hydraulic lift systems to load, unload, and transport waste containers across designated routes
- Load and unload waste containers accurately while adhering to safety protocols and weight limits
- Manage route driving schedules efficiently to ensure timely pickups and deliveries throughout the day
- Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns
- Maintain detailed logs of deliveries, pickups, route activities, and vehicle condition reports
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate operations smoothly
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with roll-off trucks or similar heavy-duty vehicles
- Prior delivery driver experience involving route driving, load & unload procedures, and freight handling
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements suitable for heavy vehicle operation
- Strong commitment to safety standards and customer service excellence
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
