Roll-Off Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Roll-Off Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating roll-off trucks to transport and dispose of waste, recyclables, or other freight efficiently across designated routes. Your expertise in truck driving and ability to handle various types of trailers will ensure smooth delivery and pickup operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to environmentally responsible waste management while maintaining high safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate roll-off trucks and tractor-trailers, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
• Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or hydraulic lifts, ensuring secure handling of cargo.
• Drive route-specific schedules with precision, managing delivery and pickup of waste containers or freight at multiple locations throughout the day.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs of miles driven, cargo transported, and deliveries made; report any incidents or delays promptly.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and route adjustments as needed.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies to promote safe driving practices at all times.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating roll off truck
• Proficiency in manual transmission vehicles
• Strong knowledge of route driving, safety protocols, and vehicle maintenance procedures.
• Prior delivery driver experience in a fast-paced environment is highly desirable.
• Will train how to operate roll off if experience with 8LL manual transmission

Pay: $28.10 - $30.00 per hour
