Experienced roll-off / hooklift dumpster rental driver

$25–$30 per hour (based on experience)
Job Overview:
Lift Away Dumpster Rentals is hiring a professional, experienced Roll-Off Driver to operate an automatic transmission single axle hooklift truck to deliver containers to and from job sites.
This is not an entry-level position.

What You’ll Do:

• Operate a hooklift truck
• Perform container deliveries, swaps, and removals
• Maneuver safely through tight residential streets and active job sites
• Use mobile app to properly document every drop off, pick up or swap out
• Conduct detailed pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation
• Communicate with operations to optimize routes and service
• Ensure safe, professional container placement
• Bring full containers to the proper recycling or disposal center
• Maintain truck cleanliness and mechanical awareness
• Hooklift experience is preferred

Team Expectations:

While this position is primarily container truck operations only, we are a team-driven company. All team members assist when necessary. This may include:

• Assisting with cleanouts
• Assisting with loading during time-sensitive projects
• Assisting with our junk removal division
• Assisting with vehicle drop offs if repair work is needed

Schedule:

• We are an event-based, on-demand service business. This is not a clock-out-at-3PM role.
• Full time - 4-5 days per week (Company operates Mondays-Saturdays)
• Start times vary typically between 545am-745am
• Work continues until the scheduled day is complete
• Tasks change in this industry due to the amount of jobsites we go to - the route at 10am can look completely different by 12pm

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid Class B CDL preferred
• Clean driving record
• 1+ years experience operating roll-off trucks preferred
• Hooklift experience preferred
• Knowledge of DOT regulations
• Valid DOT medical card
• Physically capable of lifting and assisting when required
• Professional appearance and strong customer service skills
