Roll-Off Truck Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and reliable Roll-Off Truck Driver to join our team. This a daylight hours position with working hours between 6AM-4PM (flex). In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating roll-off trucks and other heavy-duty vehicles to transport waste containers, debris, or materials to and from various job sites. Your expertise in commercial driving, mechanical knowledge, and ability to handle heavy loads will ensure efficient service delivery while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties

• Safely operate roll-off trucks, and tractor-trailers to load,transport, and unload materials or waste containers
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
• Drive in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies, maintaining a clean driving record at all times
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks when necessary, ensuring safe handling of bulky or heavy loads
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site personnel, and team members to coordinate pickups and deliveries
• Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle inspections for compliance purposes
• Perform routine maintenance checks on trucks and report any mechanical issues promptly

Experience

• Proven experience operating heavy-duty commercial vehicles such as roll-off trucks, dump trucks, or tractor-trailers
• Strong mechanical knowledge of truck systems and basic repairs is preferred
• Prior delivery driver experience with a focus on waste management or construction materials is highly desirable
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record is required
• Experience handling manual transmission vehicles is essential
• Familiarity with load & unload procedures using various truck types including flatbeds and rear loaders
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
