Roll-Off Truck Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roll Off Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating roll off trucks to transport waste and debris from various job sites. This role requires strong driving skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to perform heavy lifting. The Roll Off Driver will play a crucial part in maintaining efficient operations while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate roll off trucks to pick up and deliver containers at designated locations.
• Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding schedules and any issues that arise.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
• Perform basic mechanical maintenance on vehicles as needed.
• Assist in training new drivers on safe driving practices and equipment operation.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Experience driving roll off trucks
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required during loading and unloading processes.
• Familiarity with flatbed trucks, front loader trucks, or tractor-trailers is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
