Roll-off Truck Driver

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roll Off Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating roll off trucks to transport waste and debris from various job sites. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle equipment efficiently. The Roll Off Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely pickups and deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of service.

Duties

• Operate roll off trucks to load and unload waste materials at designated sites.
• Ensure proper securing of loads to prevent spillage during transport.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel regarding schedules and any issues that may arise.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles as needed, including checking fluid levels and tire pressure.

Skills

• Proficient in operating various types of trucks including roll off trucks, rear loader trucks, dump trucks, and front loader trucks.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
• Ability to safely load and unload materials using appropriate equipment.
• Previous experience as a commercial driver or delivery driver is a plus.
• Familiarity with tractor-trailer operations is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
