Roofer/Laborer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roofer/Laborer to join our team. This position involves working on various roofing projects, performing labor-intensive tasks, and ensuring high-quality workmanship. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction practices, be comfortable with heavy lifting, and possess experience with power tools and hand tools.

Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain roofs using a variety of materials.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for roofing tasks.
• Assist in trim carpentry and masonry work as needed.
• Participate in concrete forming for roofing structures.
• Perform heavy lifting as required during the installation process.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while on-site.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in roofing or construction is preferred.
• Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and other equipment related to roofing tasks.
• Knowledge of construction estimating is a plus.
• Strong understanding of schematics and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Experience in trim carpentry or masonry work is advantageous.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday.
• A reliable work ethic with a commitment to quality craftsmanship and safety standards.
