Position Summary

Roofing Canvasser / Assistant Project Manager

The Roofing Canvasser / Assistant Project Manager is a hybrid field position responsible for generating qualified roofing leads through direct canvassing while also supporting roofing projects from pre-production through completion.

This role is designed for someone who is comfortable working in the field, engaging homeowners, and assisting with job site coordination and quality control. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and motivated to grow within a roofing or construction management career path.

This position plays a key role in maintaining strong sales momentum while protecting production quality and customer experience.

Key Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Comfortable with door-to-door canvassing and homeowner interaction
• Strong verbal communication and professionalism
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Ability to work outdoors and be on jobsites regularly
• Basic smartphone skills (photos, apps, CRM entries)
• Strong work ethic and accountability
• Ability to follow scripts, processes, and company SOPs
• Willingness to learn roofing systems, materials, and install processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in:
• Roofing
• Construction
• Home improvement sales
• Canvassing or field marketing
• Familiarity with:
• Job site environments
• Taking progress photos
• Basic quality checks
• Customer service or client-facing experience
• Basic organizational or scheduling experience
• Comfortable using CRM systems (JobNimbus, CompanyCam, etc.)

Pay: $35,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
