Position Overview

Gulf Coast Contractors LA LLC is seeking an experienced field professional with a background in insurance adjusting, claims inspection, ladder assist services, or roofing inspections.

This position is ideal for:

• Former property insurance adjusters
• Independent claims inspectors
• Ladder assist technicians
• CAT field adjusters
• Roofing inspectors
• Construction field estimators

We are looking for someone who is already comfortable on roofs, understands storm-related damage identification, and can confidently document and communicate loss conditions.

We can train the sales process — but we are specifically seeking candidates who already possess strong roof inspection skills and insurance claim familiarity.

This is a W-2 employee or 1099 contract employee position offering in-house leads, administrative support, and long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

Field Inspection & Damage Assessment

• Perform detailed roof inspections
• Identify wind, hail, and storm-related damage
• Document findings with professional photo reporting
• Understand code upgrades and roof system components
• Communicate findings clearly to homeowners and adjusters

Insurance Coordination

• Meet insurance adjusters on-site when needed
• Understand claim scope and line-item discussions
• Assist with documentation for supplements
• Maintain professional communication with carriers

Lead Management & Sales Development

• Manage in-house leads generated through company marketing
• Respond promptly to company-provided leads
• Generate additional self-produced leads (optional but encouraged)
• Educate homeowners on coverage, process, and next steps
• Secure signed contracts

Project Coordination

• Coordinate with production team
• Perform pre-job and final walkthroughs
• Assist in collecting required documentation and payments
• Ensure smooth job closeout

Ideal Candidate Background

We strongly prefer candidates with experience in one or more of the following:

• Property insurance adjusting
• CAT adjusting
• Ladder assist or roof inspection services
• Xactimate estimating experience
• Construction or roofing field inspections
• Prior roofing sales experience

• Comfortable climbing and walking roofs safely
• Familiar with identifying storm-related damage
