Roofing Service & Repair Technician

Description:

Exteriors by Highmark is looking for a dependable Roofing Service Technician that has great communication with management and customers and knowledge of roofing, window and siding installation and service. This role will primarily work on service calls, diagnosing and completing roofing repairs.

Pay: $25 - $35 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and complete repairs on shingle, metal, flat, and other roof systems.
• Address leaks, storm damage, missing materials, and other common issues.
• Respond to and evaluate warranty-related issues on completed roofing jobs.
• Complete service reports and repair documentation with before-and-after photos.
• Submit clear summaries of work performed and recommendations for follow-up.
• Perform flashing repairs, seal penetrations, reseal vents, and conduct other maintenance as needed.
• Repair or replace damaged/missing siding, facia and soffits
• Install siding & window materials according to manufacturer specifications
• Troubleshooting and addressing issues
• Install and replace windows and doors in both residential and commercial properties
• General carpentry and finish carpentry

Company Vehicle Requirement:
This position includes a company vehicle. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. A motor vehicle record (MVR) review is a standard check of your driving history (such as accidents, violations, or suspensions) to ensure you meet our insurance and safety requirements.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of roofing experience with a strong background in residential repair and service work
• Solid understanding of shingle, metal, and flat roofing systems
• Skilled in diagnosing leaks and workmanship issues
• Ability to safely and confidently work on roofs of varying pitches and heights
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to use a siding brake
• Strong knowledge of siding products- vinyl, steel, LP, Hardie
• Experience with window & Door installation
• General carpentry and finish carpentry experience

• Must pass a background check
• Valid DOT Medical Card or the ability to obtain DOT Medical Card
