Key Responsibilities1. Guest Room Cleaning
- Clean and prepare assigned guest rooms according to the hotel's standards.
- Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and amenities.
- Dust all surfaces, vacuum carpets, and mop floors where needed.
- Clean bathrooms: wash basins, toilets, bathtubs, showers, and mirrors.
- Replenish minibar items (if applicable).
- Ensure room furniture and fixtures are in good condition; report any damage.
2. Guest Service
- Respond promptly to guest requests (extra amenities, towels, pillows, etc.).
- Ensure guest belongings are not disturbed and maintain high confidentiality.
- Provide courteous and professional service at all times.
- Handle Lost & Found items following hotel policy.
3. Cleaning Public & Back-of-House Areas
- Clean corridors, service areas, and assigned public areas.
- Ensure housekeeping trolleys are neat, organized, and fully stocked.
- Dispose of guest garbage and ensure bins are emptied regularly.
4. Safety & Hygiene
- Use cleaning chemicals safely and follow hotel safety guidelines.
- Follow proper procedures for handling linen, chemicals, and equipment.
- Report maintenance issues, broken items, or safety hazards immediately.
5. Administrative Tasks
- Update room status in the daily assignment sheet or mobile device.
- Return master keys at the end of the shift.
- Ensure laundry is handled according to hotel procedures.
