Room Attendant

Scribner’s Catskill Lodge is looking to add a Housekeeper/Room Attendant to our team! This role can be seasonal or year-round based on employee preference. Part-time and full-time roles are available. Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred but not required.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Our Room Attendant Team is an essential role to creating and maintaining clean and comfortable environments for our guests. The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas to the highest standards. This position plays a vital role in ensuring guests arrive at a clean and refreshed space with tidy and sanitary amenities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clean rooms prior to guest arrival and provide service daily throughout guest stays according to Lodge standards
• Clean restrooms, corridors, lobbies, stairways and lounges
• Restock housekeeping supplies as needed in closets
• Follow all company safety and security procedures
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual and consistent work attendance
