Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a spotless environment.
- Perform floor care duties such as mopping, sweeping, and carpet cleaning to maintain pristine surfaces throughout the property.
- Restock amenities like toiletries, towels, and linens to meet guest needs promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas including hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and other shared spaces to uphold the property's high standards.
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages immediately to management for prompt resolution.
- Assist with special cleaning projects such as industrial cleaning or deep cleans when required, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or housekeeping within hotels or similar hospitality environments preferred.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet maintenance.
- Excellent attention to detail with a passion for providing exceptional cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality work.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts.
- Previous custodial or industrial cleaning experience is advantageous; experience managing housekeeping operations is a plus.
