Room Attendant

Overview

Duties

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, furniture, and fixtures, following established procedures.
• Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, linens, and other supplies to ensure guest comfort.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks in public areas including hallways, lobbies, elevators, and restrooms to maintain a pristine environment.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to the appropriate department promptly.
• Adhere to safety protocols and proper handling of cleaning chemicals to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with laundry duties by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to complete daily cleaning schedules efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles; commercial cleaning or hotel housekeeping experience is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and move around for extended periods.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices is preferred.
