Room Inspector

Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Room Inspector to join our hospitality team. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms, suites, and public spaces to verify cleanliness, organization, and overall condition.
• Identify maintenance or safety issues during inspections and coordinate timely resolutions with relevant departments.
• Supervise housekeeping staff to ensure adherence to cleanliness standards, safety protocols, and operational procedures.
• Train new team members on cleaning techniques, safety practices, and company policies related to custodial work.
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities, placing orders as needed to maintain stock levels.
• Enforce health and safety regulations by ensuring proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Document inspection results, maintenance requests, and staff performance to support continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within a hospitality or hotel environment.
• Supervising or management experience in a housekeeping or hospitality setting is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members effectively.
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques, laundry processes, and safety standards.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
