ROR + Golang/5+yrs/Remote

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Ruby on Rails (RoR) + Golang Developer with 5+ years of proven expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications and APIs. The ideal candidate should be proficient in both Ruby on Rails and Golang, with strong knowledge of software architecture, database management, and cloud deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance applications using Ruby on Rails and Golang.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs / GraphQL APIs for internal and external integrations.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, DevOps, and QA engineers to deliver quality solutions.
• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement bug fixes.
• Work with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.) and ensure efficient query performance.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth deployment in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical discussions and solution design.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in software development with strong expertise in Ruby on Rails and Golang.
• Strong knowledge of OOP, design patterns, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js is a plus).
• Proficiency with databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis).
• Hands-on experience with API development (REST/GraphQL) and third-party integrations.
• Good understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Knowledge of test-driven development (TDD), RSpec, Go testing frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving skills, debugging, and performance tuning experience.
• Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with message brokers/queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Redis Streams).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Exposure to event-driven architecture and real-time systems.
• Contribution to open-source projects in RoR or Golang.

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
