Job Description:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1 – 2 years previous customer service or dealing with the public
  • 1+ year handling multiple phone lines
  • Software experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook and other Internet applications
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test
  • Complete pre-employment background check
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English


Job Requirements:
Route Coordinators respond to passenger inquiries via phone, provide excellent customer service to clients. Responsible for directly monitoring, coordinating and overseeing the daily scheduled route operation of the vehicle. Must have excellent customer service skills and be proficient in general office duties.
Role and Responsibilities
  • Help assist with backing buses and ensuring drivers are on route on time
  • Provide excellent customer service while promoting a safe and positive transit experience
  • Work directly with customers to understand stops, schedules and route changes.
  • Train and support customers in using the Transloc App for real-time tracking and trip planning
  • Answer questions in a professional manner
  • Monitor route activity and service using the Transloc app.
  • Coordinate driver breaks and maintain proper route spacing to ensure consistent flow
  • Communicate with drivers and passnger on delays or disruption to service
  • Communicate closely with on duty supervisors
  • Direct drivers on the radio about reroutes and accident
  • Manage lost and found items
  • Inform Operations and Management of any vehicular accidents
  • Perform other duties as required on route or back at base

Wage Range: 25.00 - 25.00 per hour
