Route Engineer / Site Engineer – Roads Operations & Maintenance (Ashghal Projects)

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Route Engineer / Site Engineer to join our growing team in Qatar. The ideal candidate should have 4–5 years of experience in Roads Operations & Maintenance projects, with previous experience working on Ashghal projects being highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor daily Roads Operations & Maintenance activities.
• Conduct routine inspections of roads, pavements, drainage networks, road signs, barriers, and associated infrastructure assets.
• Coordinate with Ashghal representatives, consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
• Ensure all works are executed in accordance with Ashghal standards, specifications, quality requirements, and HSE regulations.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Monitor manpower, materials, and equipment utilization on site.
• Identify maintenance requirements and support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Support incident response and emergency maintenance works when required.
• Ensure project KPIs, quality standards, and contractual obligations are achieved.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 4–5 years of relevant experience in Roads Operations & Maintenance projects.
• Previous experience on Ashghal projects is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of road maintenance, infrastructure assets, inspections, and maintenance management practices.
• Good understanding of construction methodologies, QA/QC procedures, and HSE standards.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
• MMUP/UPDA certification is an Manadatory
• Valid Qatar Driving License is preferred.
