R&R Transmission Technician

Baker's Transmission is looking for a skilled R&R Transmission Technician to join our team.

What You’ll Do

• Remove and reinstall transmissions with precision and efficiency
• Perform repairs on drivetrains, differentials, and driveshafts
• Diagnose issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques
• Inspect vehicles and recommend accurate, honest repair solutions
• Use hand tools, power tools, and specialty equipment daily
• Follow safety procedures and work confidently with lifting equipment

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of transmission experience (required)
• Strong understanding of transmission systems and components
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
• Comfortable using diagnostic equipment and troubleshooting issues
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in quality work
• Able to lift heavy components and stay on your feet during the day
• Works well independently and with a team
• Valid driver’s license
