RSVP Associate

RSVP Cashiers are fast and friendly. Cashiers operate cash registers and supervise self-checkout stations. This position involves issuing receipts and change, processing coupons, assisting customers with various forms of payment, bagging groceries and placing them in customers' carts, complying with state and local laws regarding the sale of alcoholic beverages and tobacco, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.

Requirements

• Technology: Ability to learn point-of-sale (POS) systems, cash registers, and scanners
• Attention to detail: Ensuring pricing accuracy and proper handling of returns or coupons
• Communication skills: Clear and friendly interaction with customers and coworkers
• Time management: Efficient handling of transactions during busy periods
• Customer service : Friendly, helpful, and patient demeanor
• Trustworthiness: Handling cash and sensitive customer information responsibly
• Positive attitude: Courteous and professional behavior even under pressure
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 15lbs, walk around the work station and bend to reach items.
