Job Description

We're looking for a strong Ruby on Rails developer to join our development team. Do you love test-driven development, solving business problems, and are passionate about your code and learning. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality output is important.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers, frontend developers, stakeholders, and clients to understand business goals, analyze requirements, formulate solutions, and ensure the successful execution and delivery of the end product.
• Supporting feature launches and working with operations & marketing teams to resolve issues
• Translating requirements, designs and wireframes into high quality code, assisting in scoping, estimating, and planning of projects.
• Participate in code review, pairing, and other forms of knowledge sharing.
• Evaluating third-party enterprise applications, and evangelizing the best solutions with the teams
• Documenting and designing standards

Qualifications

• Proficiency with PostgreSQL & RESTful APIs
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Automated Testing
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English
