RCAs must be available to work on an as needed basis.

DRIVING REQUIRED: Applicants must have a valid state driver’s license, a safe driving record, and at least two years of

unsupervised experience driving passenger cars or larger. The driving must have taken place in the U.S. or its possessions or territories or in U.S. military installations worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks with manual transmissions, to complete assigned routes efficiently.
  • Load and unload packages and mail using appropriate lifting techniques and equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary.
  • Deliver parcels directly to customers’ homes or businesses, ensuring accurate and secure placement.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, offering assistance, and maintaining a friendly professional demeanor during deliveries.
  • Follow established route sequences, adhering to schedules while navigating rural roads safely and responsibly.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met; report any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and documentation for each route completed.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in customer service or delivery driving is preferred; familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles is highly desirable.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with moving packages and mail.
  • Experience with route driving, load & unload procedures, and using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on courteous customer interactions.
  • Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles and courier operations is beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently, follow safety protocols, and manage time effectively on rural routes.
