Responsibilities

• Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and courier vans, following all traffic laws and safety protocols.
• Load and unload packages using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary, ensuring proper handling of all items.
• Deliver mail and packages along designated rural routes efficiently and accurately, maintaining a consistent schedule.
• Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with recipients and addressing their questions or concerns.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections, perform basic maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery confirmation records.
• Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management or stock organization when required.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in customer service or warehouse operations is highly desirable.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving or box trucks is preferred.
• Proven ability to operate manual transmission vehicles and familiarity with driving <PERSON> driver or courier vehicles.
• Physical capability to lift heavy packages regularly and perform manual tasks involving heavy lifting or moving items.
• Experience with load & unload procedures using forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus.
• Strong route driving skills with a focus on safety, efficiency, and punctuality.

Pay: From $20.38 per hour
