Rural Mail Carrier Full Time

We are looking for a Full-time employee in Linden, Va. The contract consists of casing (sorting) and loading and delivering the mail to mailboxes in Linden, Va. Delivering and picking up any outgoing mail in the mailboxes and returning to the Post Office and unloading etc. The contract is six days a week. The start time is 7:45am and can be adjusted with agreement of postmaster and NBE LLC. All postal holidays will be observed, therefore, no work on postal holidays.

The pay rate is $183.08/day for an average of 7.33 contract hours' worth of work between in-post office time and delivering on the route. Your pay rate is the base rate $19.60 + $5.36 for health and welfare= $24.96 an hour. $24.96 an hour x 7.33 hours = $183.08 a day.

We offer a generous car allowance that covers all the gas that is required for the route and a little more for the wear and tear you will incur.

Minimum wages while primary driver is in the car with you. This could take one day or one week depending on your learning abilities.

You will be required to pass a background check and drug test. The initial drug test will be reimbursed by NBE LLC. Additionally, you will be required to provide a 5-year driving record background available online for about $10 to $12.
