Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a rear loader with a capacity between 20 and 25 yards.
• Drive through designated rural routes, ensuring timely pickup of waste from residential and commercial sites.
• Conduct pre-trip/Post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure mechanical safety and proper functioning before each shift.
• Always maintaining safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of pickups, drop-offs, and route completion; report any vehicle issues or route obstacles promptly.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure personal safety and the safety of others during operations.

Requirements

• Must be 25 years or older with 2 years of experience.
• Valid CDL with a clean driving record with accommodating endorsements.
• Able to pass a DOT drug screen.
• Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor issues.
• Ability to lift 50lbs safely and perform manual tasks associated with waste collection.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy equipment
• Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer service in rural environments.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
