We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Russian Culture Analyst with an in-depth understanding of the cultural, historical, and social aspects of the Soviet Union. This role is essential for developing authentic and engaging thematic content for our theme park and zoo attractions. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive knowledge of Soviet-era traditions, customs, art, and societal norms to ensure accurate representation and immersive experiences for visitors. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research on various facets of Soviet Union culture, including history, traditions, folklore, arts, and societal practices.
- Develop detailed cultural profiles and thematic narratives that authentically reflect Soviet heritage for use in park exhibits, displays, and educational programs.
- Collaborate with creative teams to design culturally accurate costumes, props, and set designs that align with historical contexts.
- Assist in creating educational materials and interactive experiences that promote understanding of Soviet culture among diverse audiences.
- Evaluate existing content for cultural accuracy and suggest improvements or updates based on current scholarly research.
- Utilize financial software to manage project budgets related to cultural content development and implementation (nice-to-have skill).
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Russian culture with a specific focus on the Soviet Union era; experience working in cultural analysis or related fields preferred.
- Strong research skills with the ability to synthesize complex historical and cultural information into engaging content.
- Familiarity with financial software for budget management (preferred).
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including designers, educators, and management.
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail while meeting project deadlines.
- Prior experience in theme park or zoo environment is a plus but not required. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about cultural history who want to bring authentic Soviet Union experiences to life for a broad audience through innovative themed attractions.
