We are looking for a driven and self-motivated
Account Executive to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, start-up environment and enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities, and driving growth through consultative SaaS sales.
You will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle — from prospecting and lead generation to closing — while collaborating closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Customer Engagement
- Identify, engage, and nurture relationships with new and existing clients.
- Conduct warm and cold outreach to introduce Kokomo24/7® solutions and uncover client needs.
- Deliver engaging presentations and product demos tailored to client requirements.
2. Sales Strategy & Execution
- Drive revenue growth by meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Manage the full sales pipeline, from initial contact to contract execution.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategies that support customer success and retention.
3. Product & Market Expertise
- Maintain a deep understanding of Kokomo24/7®’s products, features, and competitive advantages.
- Research and analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies.
4. CRM & Sales Operations
- Use CRM tools (HubSpot) to manage leads, track performance, and maintain accurate records of all activities.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for leadership review.
Qualifications- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record in B2B or SaaS sales, preferably in technology or software.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency with CRM tools such as HubSpot.
- Must be able to work on-site in Northbrook, IL (not a remote position).
- Big Plus: Experience in education, teaching, or school administration — understanding of school operations and decision-making processes is highly valued.
