Trondent Development Corp is a travel technology company that has been building software for the global travel industry for 30 years. We serve travel management companies, GDS providers, online booking tools, and corporate travel programs worldwide. We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented SAAS Implementation & Support Specialist to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of configuring and supporting cloud-based software solutions for our clients. Your expertise will ensure seamless integration, optimal performance, and exceptional customer satisfaction.

This is not a job where you disappear into a cubicle farm. You will work with the entire staff and management team and have a real voice in how our products evolve.

Responsibilities

This is a client-facing role which serves as the bridge between our clients and our technology – you will onboard new clients, dig into data to answer client questions, gather implementation and custom development requirements, help test new product features/releases, and make sure our clients are happy with the products they are using.

Nurture relationships with our clients - represent Trondent in client interactions via our CRM tool, hold client support video calls and, possibly, participate in some sales demonstrations.

Data and reporting: Write SQL queries against MySQL databases to pull ad-hoc reports, troubleshoot data issues, and answer client questions. You will not be writing application code, but you need to be comfortable working directly with data.

Product quality and input: Participate in testing of new feature releases before they reach clients. Provide input on product direction based on your conversations with current and potential clients.

What We Need From You

We are looking for someone with the right foundation and the willingness to grow into a role with real depth and ownership.

• 4+ years of experience in a client-facing role involving implementation and/or technical support within a B2B SaaS environment
• Proven ability to write SQL queries independently (JOINs, subqueries, aggregations -- not just "familiar with databases")
• Strong written and verbal communication skills - you will be representing Trondent to our clients
• Strong analytical skills
• Resourceful - you are using the latest tools and technologies to complete assigned tasks
• A self-starter mentality – we are a small team and you need to own projects and tasks from start to finish without waiting to be told what to do
• Available to work on-site at our Barrington, IL office

What Would Set You Apart

• Familiarity with how APIs and system integrations work (you will not be writing code, but you need to understand what is happening when systems talk to each other)
• Intellectually curious with a lifelong learner mindset
• Experience writing or maintaining product and process documentation
• Experience in the travel industry (travel management companies, GDS systems, online booking tools, corporate travel programs)

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
