The Position: SAAS Marketing Director

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute lead generation strategies to identify, qualify, and nurture targets, moving them from awareness to MQLs and SQLs using data-driven tactics like website analytics, AI tools for visitor insights, and compliant data sourcing.
  • Optimize our website for conversions, including interactive demos, ROI calculators, case studies, and hero narratives using the Stellar One story brand.
  • Design and manage email campaigns and nurture sequences focusing on educational content for B2C ecommerce decision-makers facing scaling challenges and CPAs and fractional CFOs influencing ERP decisions.
  • Lead and mentor the content manager and videographer to produce high-impact assets like videos, testimonials, and visuals that build trust and drive trial sign-ups, while maintaining alignment with CEO expectations.
  • Track and report on key metrics (e.g., MQL volume, SQL conversion rates, engagement) using the EOS methodology for our leadership dashboard, iterating on strategies to boost qualified leads.
  • Collaborate on broader initiatives, such as amplifying executive thought leadership on platforms like LinkedIn and X to enhance visibility and backlinks.
  • Ensure all activities comply with regulations like CAN-SPAM, prioritizing ethical, non-salesy approaches that position clients as heroes.
  • Own and optimize paid media strategy across search, social, and other digital channels, ensuring campaigns are aligned to revenue goals and demonstrate clear ROI.
  • Plan and execute PR initiatives, including press releases and broader public relations campaigns that elevate brand authority, product awareness, and executive visibility.
  • Build and manage executive visibility programs by securing podcast interviews, speaking engagements, and thought-leadership opportunities for the CEO and other leaders.
  • Collaborate closely with Acumatica and partner organizations to co-create and lead joint marketing campaigns, announcements, and go-to-market initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B/B2C online lead generation, with a strong focus on ecommerce; SaaS background is required.
  • Proven track record of generating and converting MQLs to SQLs in environments without a dedicated sales team, using inbound and digital tactics.
  • Experience in an ultra-high growth environment (over 200% YOY growth).
  • Expertise in digital marketing tools, including HubSpot, Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Behavioral Data, SEO platforms, and automation workflows (e.g., N8N). Casual coding experience is a plus.
  • Strong skills in funnel optimization, A/B testing, lead scoring, and qualification to ensure high-quality SQL handoffs.
  • Experience with privacy-compliant data sourcing (e.g., LinkedIn, CRM databases, Clearbit) to identify anonymous website visitors and match them to our ideal customer profile.
  • An Analytical mindset with the ability to use metrics like engagement rates and conversion funnels for continuous improvement, and the ability to succinctly report and explain these metrics to senior leadership clearly.
  • Excellent leadership skills to manage a small remote team and foster collaboration in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
