Director of Quality and Safety

Rohner Finishing Systems is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Quality and Safety to join our growing team in Vancouver, WA. This is a new, critical role for our company, created to meet the needs of our substantial growth.
As a key leader, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing all quality and safety programs across the organization. This position requires a proactive individual with a strong commitment to continuous improvement and a proven track record of creating and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive quality management system to ensure our products and processes meet the highest standards. If possible, obtain AS9100 certification.
- Establish and maintain safety protocols and training programs to foster a culture of safety.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with department heads to integrate quality and safety practices into daily operations.
- Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Analyze data to identify trends and proactively address potential quality and safety risks.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a leadership role focused on quality and safety.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and safety regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to inspire and lead a culture of accountability and excellence.
