Safety Administrator

Van Ert is looking for a detail oriented, organized individual to support our corporate safety efforts and help maintain a strong safety culture across the company.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Track onboarding, safety training, and required safety forms from the field, including Pretask Plans, EEJBs, and inspections.
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating virtual, self led, and in person safety education programs.
  • Support the Safety Committee by preparing agendas, coordinating follow ups, and distributing meeting minutes.
  • Administer the Safety Management program, assist with fleet related tasks, recommend cost effective safety supplies, and maintain accurate safety data in company systems.

Requirements:

  • Organized and detail focused
  • Strong data entry and computer skills
  • Good communication
  • Ability to follow processes and adapt to changing needs
  • Commitment to workplace safety
