Safety Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Safety Officer in promoting and maintaining workplace health and safety standards.
• Help identify hazards at the workplace and support in implementing preventive measures.
• Check whether workers are using helmets, gloves, safety shoes, and other protective equipment correctly.
• Support in organizing and delivering basic safety awareness sessions for workers.
• Observe site activities and report non-compliance or unsafe practices to the Safety Officer.
• Help record accidents, near-miss incidents, and safety observations.
• Support in stopping unsafe practices and ensuring compliance with safety guidelines.
• Help update inspection logs, attendance for training, and incident reports.

Requirements and Skills

• Basic understanding of occupational health and safety practices
• Knowledge of PPE and site safety procedures
• Ability to observe and report hazards effectively
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work in construction/site environment
• Safety-related certification is an advantage
• 1–2 years of site experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
