Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Safety Audit Engineer to conduct safety audits, evaluate compliance frameworks, and ensure adherence to international and regional safety standards. This role requires strong technical expertise, analytical skills, and the ability to deliver accurate audit insights that strengthen organizational integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Safety Audits: Plan and perform audits of safety systems, processes, and facilities.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure adherence to ISO, OSHA, NFPA, and local regulatory frameworks.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential hazards and recommend mitigation strategies.
- System Evaluation: Assess fire safety, ventilation, and emergency response systems.
- Reporting: Prepare audit findings, compliance reports, and recommendations for management.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with regulators, clients, and internal teams.
- Continuous Improvement: Recommend process enhancements to improve safety performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Safety Engineering preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in safety auditing, compliance, or risk management.
- Strong knowledge of safety frameworks and GCC compliance environments.
- Proficiency in audit tools, safety management systems, and reporting platforms.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in fire safety and ventilation systems is an advantage.
