Safety Electrical Inspector
- Experience: Several years of work experience as a journeyman or master electrician is generally required.
- Education: Completion of an electrical apprenticeship program or an engineering degree.
- Certifications:
- ICC (International Code Council): E1 Residential Electrical Inspector certification is commonly required.
- IAEI (International Association of Electrical Inspectors): Offers Certified Electrical Inspector (CEI) programs.
- API (American Petroleum Institute): API SIEE for specialized electrical equipment inspection.
- Knowledge Base: Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC), local ordinances, and OSHA safety standards
