Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Safety Engineer based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Safety Engineer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring compliance with workplace safety regulations and standards, conducting risk assessments, ensuring occupational health and safety practices, and working with construction teams to enhance site safety. The role will also involve developing and delivering training programs related to occupational safety and security procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment for all employees.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Safety Engineering principles and practices
• Knowledge and experience in Occupational Health and Security measures
• Expertise in Construction Safety and related standards
• Strong ability to develop and deliver effective Training programs
• Familiarity with regional safety regulations and industry-specific safety requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
• Effective communication and organizational abilities
• Prior experience in large-scale construction or dewatering projects is advantageous

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering .

Minimum 3–5 years of experience (preferably in dewatering / construction)

Strong knowledge of HSE standards, UAE regulations, and risk assessments

Nebosh/IOSH certification .
